Cedar Park, Texas - Family Fun Itinerary Fun for the Whole Family! Day 1: Why not start your vacation with a Texas Stars hockey game at the Cedar Park Center? If hockey isn't in season during your stay, the Cedar Park Center features popular artists in concert and excellent events such as Disney On Ice, Cirque du Soleil, and more! There is always something to see at the Cedar Park Center. Day 2: The Hill Country Flyer, departing Cedar Park at 10:00am, our historic train climbs over Summit Pass on a two hour ride into Burnet. We stop for two and a half hours to allow passengers to enjoy lunch at the local cafes and window-shop, then return to Cedar Park by 4:30pm. After the excitement of the train ride, visit Volente Beach waterpark. This five-acre water park in the hills of Lake Travis offers facilities for swimming, volleyball, water slides, a children's swimming playground, and a basketball court. There are also a restaurant and a marina.
Day 3: Head to the San Gabriel River, to hike the river bed (you’ll get wet!) and see the famous dinosaur tracks. Park your car at the bridge on the South San Gabriel River, just north of Leander on US 183, and walk upstream for half a mile to see these three-toed dinosaur tracks. Day 4: Visit the Hidden Falls Adventure Park! Offering paint ball and trails for motorcycles, ATVs and mountain biking, it's sure to be an adventure. Caves in Cedar Park? Cedar Park has a new attraction for visitors! The Texas Cave Conservancy has placed forty educational signs at the caves located in the Westside Preserve. Signs at each cave have information on endangered species...cave life, plants, and bats that make their home in the caves.
