Cedar Park, Texas - Good Old Days Itinerary

From Steam Trains to Living History...

Day One: Departing Cedar Park at 10:00am, our historic train climbs over Summit Pass on a two hour ride into Burnet. We stop for two and a half hours to allow passengers to enjoy lunch at the local cafes and window-shop, then return to Cedar Park by 4:30pm. Day 2: Head to the San Gabriel River, to hike the river bed (you’ll get wet!) and see the famous dinosaur tracks. Park your car at the bridge on the South San Gabriel River, just north of Leander on US 183, and walk upstream for half a mile to see these three-toed dinosaur tracks.

Just up the road you will find Inner Space Caverns , Texas’ most accessible cavern where Ice Age animals were found amid fantastic cave formations.

Day 3: Hitch a ride into Texas history. Meet the illustrious characters and see what beckoned them to call this place home. Live their lives and encounter the powerful allure of the old west. Come feel it….see it….taste it. It’s all here in sensational Cedar Park!
