The Highland Lakes of Central Texas consist of six lakes (Lake Travis is the lake near Cedar Park) along the Colorado River starting 85 miles northwest of Austin and ending in Austin. Whether you are into hike and bike trails, fishing, boating, or just having a good time at the lake, Lake Travis is the place for you. For more information on Lake Travis, click here.

Day 4:  Want to play ball with the family? Visit Southwest Regional Park for tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, disc golf, and a 2 mile running or biking path. Or, visit the Brushy Creek Sports Park for baseball, softball, disc golf, hiking, biking, skateboarding and soccer!

Are you a golfer? Visit our acclaimed golf courses: Avery Ranch and Twin Creeks .

After the sports activity, visit  Volente Beach waterpark. This five-acre water park in the hills of Lake Travis offers facilities for swimming, volleyball, water slides, a children's swimming playground, and a basketball court. There is also a restaurant and marina.
